We are an independent, non-denominational, charismatic fellowship of evangelical believers from various walks of life, who want to spread our Lord’s love, joy, and peace.
We believe that according to the Bible Paul writes in Colossians that Jesus was fully part of the Godhead even while he was in his body on earth. Jesus is part of the Trinity and was fully divine while being fully human. John 10:30 I and My Father are one. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
We believe the Bible is God’s word according to The Eternal Word, John 1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
We are here, first, to worship God and acknowledge our dependency upon him. We worship by singing the joy of our Lord, learning His Word, praying for one another, and helping to spread His Good News through the world.
Secondly, we are here to help the hurting, broken people find healing and direction through Christ. Since the ultimate brokenness is our relationship with God, our basic service is to help others to a relationship of love and forgiveness with God through Christ.
We implement our ministry by Sunday School, preaching, teaching, youth ministry; home Bible studies, Calvary’s Cupboard, and whatever means may be indicated to be of service to God and others.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
